Elizabeth Chang

Elizabeth Chang is an award winning Filmmaker, Actress, Writer, Producer and Director, known for Mike (Hulu), and The Young and the Restless. Elizabeth wrote, starred in and directed The Next Unicorn, a fashion-tech office comedy, that made its debut streaming on Amazon Prime Video in April of 2021. She starred in and co-directed, Glass House, played Julie Jones in Memory Scanner, Serena in Made In Heaven, an Android in the music video Barcodes, and an Assassin in Of Earth and Fire. She is currently adapting her Sci-Fi novel, Homecoming, and is producing a Comedic Pilot.  At the beginning of 2019, Elizabeth founded Georgian Pine Entertainment with Richard Chang, with the intention of uplifting new voices and unique perspectives. She’s studied improv with the Groundlings and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and continues to train year round. A classically trained ballet dancer, and martial artist, Elizabeth is also proficient in stunt work, often performing her own stunts in films. A skilled painter, Elizabeth creates hyper-realistic oil paintings, and abstract mixed-media works. Elizabeth graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with honors. She received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Comparative Literature, Classics and Art. She currently serves on the board of the Hidden Hills Theatre Committee.

Richard Chang

Richard has over 25 years experience in Technology, Finance and Film/Entertainment.  He specializes in bridging Silicon Valley and Hollywood with China.  Richard is the Founder of Georgian Pine Management, an investor in technology, media and consumer companies. He is currently an Advisor and Investor in Bet.works and Two Bit Circus where he also serves as Asia Chairman. Previously, Richard was a General Partner and Co-Founder of the Venture Group at Bowman Capital ($6 Billion AUM). His investments include: Atheros(IPO:ATHR), Andale(Acq. Alibaba), Bit Auto(IPO: BITA), Blip.tv(Acq. Disney), Epinions(IPO: SHOP), and TellMe Networks(Acq. Microsoft). 

Richard is also the founder of Georgian Pine Entertainment a TV/Film Production and Development Company. He began his career in entertainment as an Investment Banker working in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Freres where he advised on the sale of Universal Pictures to Seagram, Paramount Pictures to Viacom and of Stephen J. Cannell Studios to New World.  Richard later headed Asian Corporate Development for Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he played a key role in launching Columbia Pictures Asia(produced Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) and Columbia TriStar Television Asia.  Richard worked for Roger Corman and has been an advisor to VUDU(Acq. Walmart), Virgin Comics and the Chinese actress Gong Li.

Richard is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has a MA Politics, Philosophy & Economics, University of Oxford. He served on the board of East West Players and the advisory board for Great Schools.org.
